Hello!!!!
So I have been transferred to....WESTFIELD!!!!! I was so excited!!! So I basically moved accross the street hahaha. I'm now in President Cleveland's ward and with the Assistants. It's the best. I also am training....scary thought right? I still feel like I just got out it's weird to think I'm training. Her name is Sister ADRIANNE Krout. Yep she has the same first name as me AND she says it the exact same way. We were meant to be companions. We've been having a lot of fun together. When we are tracting and at doors I'll just stop talking and make it as awkward as possible so she has to start talking. I love it.
This past week we were out tracting and a man opened the door in just boxers. His boxers had christmas trees on them. It was priceless. Also, this past week we've been really trying to contact all the temple referrals. There are sooooo many! One of them we contacted this past week and his name is Smokey. Right when we started talking to him he asked us where our church was and that he wanted to come. On Sunday he showed up!!! AND he stayed for the first two hours!!!! It was a miracle. AND he said that he would come to church next sunday. He commited. So we will see what happens but he is so amazing. We also taught a man named Zach. He is so solid. We invited him to be baptized and he said yes. He said that he would talk to his wife about a date. He's also a crazy hoosier. Zach told us a funny story. He said that one day he was walking down a street between two gangs shooting at each other but none of the bullets were hitting him. He walked up to one of them who had a gun and he said that he was trying to shoot him but no bullets were hitting him. Zach told this kid to think fast and he chucked a bible at him and the kid dropped his gun. He then said some choice words to him telling him he needed to repent. Zach said he prayed with this kid and he accepted Jesus. I wanted to laugh so hard but kept it together. I love Indiana.
Please pray for them and this area. There is so much potential here! I'm excited to see what happens!
Life on the mish is good. So many funny experiences. I've gotten a lot more awkward so that makes things fun.
I love you all! Have a blessed week!
Love,
Sister Smith
