Hello everyone!!!
MOM!!!!!! HAPPY BIRFDAY!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Mom I hope you have an amazing day today. I can't imagine life without you.
It sounds like everyone had a great thanksgiving!! It's so fun to see all those pictures! I miss you all but it's good to know that I'll be there for the next thanksgiving.
First off I can't believe that this week was Thanksgiving. I feel like that was forever ago! So for thanksgiving we went to the Anderson's home. It was so much fun! I was there with Sister Lowry and her companion as well. That is my mission family :) We ate a ton of good food and then we all fell asleep hahaha. We were all so tired. It was a great day!
This week I also went on two exchanges. I went to Fishers and Westfield. Westfield was so much fun! I got to see so many people who I used to teach. I also got to be on exchanges with Sister Krout so that was fun. While we were tracting I went to open the screen door to knock and the handle broke off!!! Haha it was so funny! Sister Krout couldn't stop laughing but I was freaking out because I just broke someones door! I hurried and stuck it back on and then we just walked away. hehe whoops.
Yesterday was probably the most eventful day of them all. We had six investigators at church!! That was a Thanksgiving miracle! One of them her name is Amanda and she just came on her own. We haven't been able to meet with her lately so when we saw her we were so happy! Tammy, who is on date for Dec 26th, was also there and brought her niece! She is so cute, we are going to try and start teaching her as well.
At church we also met a woman named Sarah. She is engaged to a man named Octavio...or somethin like that. He speaks Spanish and has a hard time with English and so the Spanish elders have been teaching them. Well Sarah doesn't speak Spanish and so she came to the English ward. And now she wants us to teach her! She is ready for baptism! It's amazing how many miracles are happening in this ward. Kind of confusing about their relationship is he doesn't speak very good English and she doesn't speak very good Spanish. It made me a little confused but apparently she had a dream about him so she knows he's the one....
Later after church we went and visited our investigator Jamie. We haven't been able to meet with her for awhile. She told us that she has court today so if it goes well and she's not in jail then we can meet this week. So she told us to check on her today and see if she is in jail or not. Okay cool will do Jamie. WHHHAAA?! Let's pray she's not in jail.
Yesterday we called one of the less-actives were working with to see if we could come visit her. She told us that she left her husband so probably not. She told us that he threatened to kill her so she took her two little kids and left. She told us she's going to go to Florida. Oh okay yeah no big deal. I guess we're not going to be able to meet with her anymore...
As crazy as all this sounds I love it. These people in this area are so humble and need the gospel so much. I'm so grateful that I get to serve here. All these people have so many challenges but it's so amazing to see the gospel change them and give them peace in their lives. I LOVE IT HERE!!
Love and miss you all!!!
