Hello Everyone!!!
Sounds like life is just moving right along. I can't believe Jared is getting married this week!!! Please tell him that I say hi and congrats for me!! Aww I'm sad I can't be there :(
This week has been so amazing!!! Miracles are happening in Indiana people!!! Okay so I'll start off with what happened this past Sunday. We met with a girl named Aggie you say it like EGGY. She is so cute!! The first time we met her on campus she told us that she wanted to get baptized but hasn't been able to. We told her we could help her with that ;) So on Sunday we sat down and taught her the first half of the plan of salvation. She had never heard of God before so we taught her all about Him and Jesus Christ. After talking about Jesus Christ we invited her to be baptized and she said YES!!!! We asked her if she would prepare herself to be baptized on July 9th and she said YES!!! So Aggie is now preparing herself to be baptized. She is so amazing! When we taught her the rest of the plan of salvation she said that it just makes sense and that it has given her peace. She also has been praying everyday and loves it!! In our lesson with her last night she prayed and thanked God for sending us to her and that we are her angels. I love her.
Guocheng is also doing amazing!!! He is still preparing to be baptized on June 25th. He came to church and loved it. He is also going to a baptism today to see how it is. I'll let you know how that goes. He and Aggie are so solid. He is struggling a bit with having a Buddhist background but he just keeps saying that he knows this is true and that we were a sign from God. I love him.
We are still working with Kevin but we haven't decided on a date yet. He is still struggling to know if this is true. He comes to EVERYTHING though. He is so social. He told us that reading the Book of Mormon is helping so I know it will happen we just have to be patient. He is going to Ecuador soon though so I'm hoping God gives him an answer quick haha.
This past Monday we did what's called a fountain run with our zone. So on Purdue campus they have fountains and it's tradition to run through them. All the students do it on campus. So...we got our whole zone together on a P-day and we ran through the fountains! It was so hot and so it felt so good!!! We definitely have a unified zone :)
On Friday we had MLC. It was so sad :( This was President Cleveland's last one. At the end he bore his testimony and told us all how much he loves us. He started crying and I lost it. President Cleveland has helped me through so much. He has taught me so many things and become a good friend. It's going to be hard with the new mission President but I'm going to do my best to help him with the new transition. President Cleveland told us that we need to make it seamless and if he says jump we jump. So that's what I'll do.
Funny story: Every morning we go running with a set of elders and sisters. Well this morning we were running and we saw a turtle right on the trail! So we ran back to the apartment and got my camera and then drove back. We started taking selfies with it and then Sister Packer picked it up. It started opening it's mouth so we told everyone to step away. Well one stupid elder went and tried to feed it a leaf. The turtle stretched it's head out and chomped and bit the elders hand in one fluid motion. We all screamed and Sister Packer dropped the turtle. She hurried and flipped it over and we just ran away haha. Don't worry mom the turtle is okay. The elder on the other hand has a huge gash in his hand. We're not going to tell the mission nurse haha.
Love you all!!! Hope you have a good week!!!
Love,
