Hello!!!!
How are you all?? It sounds like you're having a ton of fun! I love seeing the pics of Jake. He looks like he's living the dream. Congrats Brian on graduating!! Josh it looks like the jello was good haha.
Thank you so much for all the birthday presents and birthday wishes!! All the packages came at the right time :) My birthday was so much fun!!! So we got up, went to the gym, and did the usually missionary morning haha. While I was getting ready sister sowards decorated the apartment and made me breakfast!! It was so nice :) She is so sweet!!! The morning of my birthday it was raining so we went out and talked to people on campus. Not everyone wanted to talk to us because of the rain but when I told them it was my birthday they listened haha. Used that a few times ;) Afterwards a member took sister sowards and I out to lunch for my birthday. His name is Matt and he is the greatest!!! Matt is the real MVP. He supports the missionaries so much and is such a good guy. Then after that we went out and did more missionary work. The best part of my day was the Anderson's came and took us out to dinner!! They drove all the way down from Indy just to be with me on my birthday. I LOVE them. So it was a really good day :) I'm feeling 22!!!
Also, this week we set up a booth on campus. We had a sign that said "Questions 4 Cookies!" So what they had to do is ask us a question and then they got a cookie. We had a bunch of members there answering questions with us. It was so fun!!! Lots of people were interested. It was funny too because right next to our booth we had a preacher who was yelling at people and telling them they were going to hell. He helped us because no one likes him so he made us look even better haha. Lots of people came up and told us how nice we are and that they appreciated us doing this.
Funny story: So a few times a week we play volleyball with the members and our investigators. Well last night we were playing and our investigator Sam served it and it slammed right in my face. My eyes started watering because it hurt so bad. All the elders were rolling on the ground laughing and saying,"BALL FACE!" Well then we kept playing and a few minutes later Luisa, a member on our team, tried hitting it and it bounced off her hand and hit me in the face again. Everyone was laughing so hard!! So my nickname is now BALL FACE.
Love you all! Hopefully none of you got hit by a volleyball this week haha.
Love,
Sister Smith
