Hello everyone!!
Okay so I miss you all so much!! Jake is going to Hawaii?? When was this decided?? I need all the details! Sounds like Kels is still trying to figure everything out. Josh!! Congrats on getting second place in the tournament!! I'm so excited to see you play when I get home!
Here are some updates on my life! We had transfers this past week and my new companion is Sister Sowards. She is so cute, I love her! It was really hard saying goodbye to Sister Smallcomb. She and I cried for a bit and then I just had to leave her. It's so sad to see missionaries go home :(
This week we had to give trainings at two Zone Meetings. It was so stressful because we had one day to prepare and it's all new for Sister Sowards. Luckily they turned out all right. It's all thanks to the Spirit. One Zone Meeting was in Terre Haute which is and hour and a half away. We were so exhausted that on the way home I thought I was going to fall asleep at the wheel. We had an appointment to get back to though so we couldn't stop. I'm telling you that it's a miracle we got back safely. Jesus took the wheel. I don't think missionaries should be allowed to drive long distances. It's too dangerous with all of us being so tired. It all worked out though.
This week we taught our investigator Helen Pu. She is so sweet! I love her! So we taught her more about the Plan of Salvation. She has like no knowledge of Christ or Heavenly Father so it's been one of the slowest Plan of Salvation lessons I've ever taught. She asks so many questions that I have never even thought about before. At the end of our lesson we knelt and she prayed for the first time. It was so good! After the prayer we asked her how she felt and she said that she felt really happy!! AAHHH!! After the prayer she kept saying, "Our church..." She used that phrase so many times. She's a dry Mormon!!
I love you all so much! Keep me posted on everyone's lives!!
Love,
Sister Smith
