Mi Familia!!!!
So this week has been pretty depressing. I've been saying goodbye to everyone and it's been really hard. This area has become my home and it's going to be so hard to leave. As I've been saying goodbye to the members they have all thanked Sister Lowry and me for the work we've done. One member said, "You have no idea how much impact you've had on this word and area." It's comforting to know that all the hard work hasn't gone to waste. It'll all be worth it! Transfers are this Wednesday! AHHH!!! Today we are taking a sister to the mission home so the only time we have to pack is tomorrow night haha. We're going to be cutting it close. Also, Her name is Sister Goodstein and she is bringing some of my stuff home to give to you. She said she would call you but just so ya know.
This past Sunday I sang a duet in church with my companion Sister Lowry. Hahaha it was rough. But I guess you could say we're the next Donny and Marie. We told all our investigators that it was our last Sunday so we were able to get a few of them there. Later that night we had a fireside called "Why I Believe" where recent converts bear their testimony and it gives everyone a chance to bring their investigators to feel the spirit. Well...they decided to have Sister Lowry and I sing at that as well. That also was very interesting. An Elder in my zone actually called us later that night and said that he had been having a rough day and he said that when we sang he felt the spirit so strong. Isn't that so nice?! It made me feel good. I also had the opportunity to bear my testimony. It has been amazing to just see how much I've grown from bearing my testimony. There are things in life that I know now with conviction more than I ever have. Steven, our recent convert, also bore his testimony. He is so amazing!!!! He is so sweet and has such a strong testimony. Hopefully someday you'll get to meet him.
I'm glad everyone is doing well! There are so many mosquitos out here so I'm getting eaten alive. Next time I write I'll be in a new area! Love you all!
Love,
Sister Smith
