Hola!!!
How are you all?! I can't believe that it's Monday again! This week went by so fast and was full of miracles. We had zone conference this week and it was so good! I felt like it was a good boost for Sister Perry and I. The next day we got out and went tracting all day. We found 4 new investigators that day! This week we calculated that we taught 28 lessons on door steps. I'm pretty sure that's the most we've ever done. AND the total lessons we had this week came to 39. So to say the least Sister Perry and I have been working hard. Last week it was rough because we basically had all our investigators drop us so we knew we had to get out and find more.
One door we knocked on was a young girl named Tynesha. She is so cute! She invited us in and we sat down and started to talk to her. She said she hasn't really heard about Mormons but she knew a Mormon boy in high school who wouldn't date her till he was 16. She thought that was weird haha. She asked everything that we're not allowed to do. After we listed most of it off she said that she wanted to meet with us again. hahaha I seriously thought it was so funny that after we told her everything we can't do she was interested. That's when you know the spirit is working.
This week was also rough because Peggy said that she wants to cancel her baptism. It was a sad lesson. She said that she can't stop smoking and she is getting nervous because of the pressure of her baptism. To be honest I think it's her husband Ray's fault. Sometimes husbands get in the way of salvation. We're going to keep meeting with her but we are almost done teaching the lessons so we will see what happens.
It's gotten really humid here so don't mind my hair in all the pictures haha. I've been sweating bad and everyday I come home all sticky. Gotta love Indiana! This week is transfers so next time I email I will have a new companion. Crazy! I'm going to miss Sister Perry. We really have become close friends and have gotten really good at teaching together. I'm all done training. Don't worry though I'm still going to be in West Lafayette. Love you all!
Love,
Sister Smith
