Merry Christmas!!!!!
I'm so excited to talk to you all on Christmas! That will seriously be the best gift ever. Josh I'm so proud of you! I bet you did so good in your choir concert. You look so big. I'm liking the hair.
This past week was full of ups and downs. We had transfers this past week so we now have three new elders in our ward.
We met with Marcie this past week and the lesson went well until the end. We went over the baptismal questions and we found out that she is currently on probation. NOOOOOO!!!!! I was so sad when she said that. My heart just dropped. She is so ready to be baptized!!! So now we are going to have to wait.
On the bright side, Tammy had her interview this past week and is ready to be baptized on the 26th! Be expecting lost of pictures home next week!
This past week we went to our investigator Hattie's choir concert. It was so amazing! It just made me want to be in choir all over again.
We also had a Christmas party at Sister Colby's. She is the wealthy member in our ward. We had over 15 missionaries at her house and she fed us and gave each of us a stocking stuffed with gifts!!! She is so sweet! She is the one who we are going to be at on Christmas. She is the only member in her family and has only been a member for a year. So on Christmas we'll get to be with her family and hopefully make an impression on them! Yay! Missionary work #can'tstop #won'tstop
Okay now for funny stories!!
This past week I broke two doorbells. I guess I just am too strong and don't know my own strength. I just pushed it and one completely fell off and the other just broke into pieces. It was great.
As we were pulling into our apartment we saw a group of guys around a car outside our house. I looked at them and realized it was a drug deal hahaha. They had a lot of cash flying around. Well Sister Tanner and I quickly got out of the car and went inside. This is the second time we've seen them by our apartment. Gotta love the ghetto.
I love you all and can't wait to see you on Christmas!!!! xoxo
Love,
Sister Smith
