Hello family!!!
AAHAHHHH!! I miss you all so much. It sounds like you all had a good Superbowl Sunday! That's exciting to hear the Broncos won. Mom I'm still really sad to hear about the mailbox. I really liked that mailbox :( are you going to get it fixed? Kels it sounds like you're super crazy busy! I'm not surprised though I know you're a hard worker.
This week was such a good week!! We had a baptism!!! Andy was baptized. It was such a beautiful day. The spirit was so strong and his mom came who isn't a member. After the baptism she came up to us and was asking us a TON of questions. It was so cool! She also came to church the next day as well. Andy is such a good example for his mom.
Also, on Saturday the Anderson's came to visit me! I was so excited! It takes a little bit longer than an hour to get here. And they still made the drive! We went to lunch and it was so much fun! I love them and miss being close to them.
This next Saturday a man named Norm who I taught in Indy is getting baptized so I'll be going back to my old area for his baptism. I'm so excited!
This week we also taught some amazing people. One is named Mallory. We met her on campus and when we taught her she started crying. The spirit was so strong! We met with her on Sunday and we invited her to be baptized and she said yes! She is so amazing.
We also taught an Asian named Chen Fong. We had to teach sssooooo simply. She doesn't know who God is. It was so fun! She is also amazing!
Funny Story: I was on exchanges on campus and we met this guy and started to teach him. We asked if we could set up a time to teach him more and he hesitated. We asked if we could get his number and then we could text him to set up a time. He told us he would give us his email (when someone offers their email they're not interested.) I pulled out our phone and said no problem I'll just grab your number. So he gave in and told us his phone number. After I typed it in I said, "Alright I'm just going to call you real fast so you can have ours." Bahahaha he got so nervous. I knew it was the wrong number so I wanted to see what he would do. He panicked and said, "Uhhh....I gave you my home phone number not my cell." Then he told us his name was Joe. Yeah right. Anyway it was really funny!
I love you all and miss you lots! Have a good week!
Love,
Sister Smith
